Time keeps on moving, but I don't want it to. My little baby is already 9 months old. She is the happiest, friendliest, and most active 9 month old I know! At a recent well-visit checkup, she weighed in at 18 lbs and 3 oz and measured 2' 3.5". A pound and a half heavier than her older sister at the same age! She is a growing girl!
Isla is definitely a mover and a shaker. She crawls everywhere and she is fast! She tries to climb onto furniture; and one time, she summitted Emma's bed! She even stands up on her own. She prefers hanging onto something, but often finds her two hands are too busy to hang on. She isn't taking steps yet, but I feel like those may be close.
She has had a month-long cold - runny nose, green boogers, congestion, etc. One week she struggled with a fever, off and on. When the fever would come it would hit her hard. At one point spiking to 104. When that happened (over a weekend) we brought her to the ER. At the conclusion of the visit (a couple hours later), her fever had completely subsided! It has been a really frustrating "illness" - coming and going when it pleases. Even though it doesn't seem to slow her down, I'm not a big fan of it. I want my girls well!!! Maybe allergies? Or maybe just the season? Either way, she doesn't seem to be too bothered by it.
