Isla is quite the toddler these days. She is running and communicating. She has a handful of words in her arsenal: Mama, Papa, Emma (she calls everyone Emma), Lily, more, hi, and cheese. I may be forgetting a few. She still loves an occasional snuggle and cuddle from her Mama or Papa, especially between 5 and 6 pm; otherwise, she is independent and always moving. She is the sweetest little girl and almost always smiling and happy. She will gladly give you a kiss, preferably an open-mouth one. She has been known to throw a fit or two (rolling around on the ground kicking her feet) if she doesn't get her way. She is quite the pig-piler, usually you can find her at the top of the pile. And she has been known to hit (we are working on that), especially her sister. She is a great eater - packing away almost everything presented to her. She is awesome at using a spoon or a fork. She still enjoys a bottle at bedtime. And she LOVES going to bed. She will snuggle right into her crib with her bunny.
Here is a video of Isla using her latest word, "Cheese", in front of the camera. Various photos of Isla follow.

Attitude brows because I took the marker away when she was caught eating it. |

Recently, she has started looking at books. (Also, anything Emma does is a priority for Isla too) |
