The Big Move

So many changes over the last month, but the biggest one was packing up our home and moving to another zip code.  A couple of years ago, we realized Townsend wasn't the place for us.  This year, the housing market seemed to have been in our favor and things moved quickly.  Before I even had a Zillow account, the house had sold and we scrambled to figure out what was next.  A condo in Lunenburg, MA is where we will temporarily call home until we can figure out which community is calling our name.  Even more fun changes ahead.

The girls have taken the move extremely well.  Only the walls we call a house have changed for them (school, doctor, chiropractor, routine, etc. are the same).  Emma was sooooo excited.  As anyone who knows her people-loving, social personality may assume, she was most interested in who her new neighbors would be.  Isla was very hesitant about our old house being empty and the new house in general, but especially the first couple of nights.  All was good after we rearranged her furniture to be consistent with how it was set up in their last bedroom.  She hasn't had a problem since!

Here are some photos of the Soos family big move.  Unfortunately, my camera was broken during this time so my photos are few in number.  But a big thank you to those who sent me photos!  This was such an emotional time saying goodbye to a house, I'm glad to have a few photos of the event.

4 years but now refuses to take it off.  I think it is very fitting.

Isla also developed a few attachments to yard sale stuff - here she
is protesting the sale of an old Bumbo Seat.

She really liked the seat. And ate all of the donut
holes that were supposed to be for the yard sale guests.
