Emma Goes Camping...Again!

Once again, we dragged her into the woods for a camping adventure. Columbus Day weekend we went to Jamaica State Park in Vermont for some out-of-town fun with hilarious friends and their baby, Nova (born only four days after Emma). It just so happened to be amazing weather with warm sunshine during the day and cool Fall nights. Perfect for daytime hiking and wine and smores at night. We had a great time.

The babies enjoyed bonding with toys, chats, and campfire tunes. Nova showed Emma how to play with her toys and gave her pointers on sitting up. And Emma showed Nova how to camp and be mellow. BFFs already. :)

Emma enjoyed the following during her second camping adventure:

- Hiking to Hamilton Falls;
- Snuggling up in her snowsuit that Grandma Shelar bought her;
- Watching the campfire;
- Snoozing in the middle of Papa and Mommy in their double mummy bag;
- Enjoying second hand peanut butter cup smores - yeah, they were good;
- Playing with Nova on her Blanket;
- Watching the falling leaves;
- Enjoying an airplane ride with Momma;
- Bonding while the Mommies shared birthing war stories;
- Watching Nova and her parents - very entertaining; and
- Napping while traveling to and from the State Park (yeah!).

She is looking forward to many more adventures with Nova in tow!
