Recently, I mentioned the support Emma had during
Isla's birth-day. Just having an extra hand was helpful, especially during the birth (for obvious reasons) and while Isla and I recovered!
Grandpa and Pepere helped care for Emma during the birth. They brought along movies, activities, and planned on taking Emma out of the house if need be. They didn't need any of it! Emma typically wakes up between 6 and 7 am every day. On Isla's birth-day, she woke at 9 am, about 30 minutes before Isla was born! Despite that, Grandpa and Pepere stuck around all day to take care of the whole family.

Grandma Soos helped that first 48 hours by taking care of Emma on Isla's second day in life. Grandma kept Emma fully entertained, or maybe it was the other way around, playing with toys and making a birthday cake for Isla!
