Eric Carle

If you have young kids, you've probably heard of Eric Carle.  His picture books are works of art.  As a parent who reads and reads and reads so many books, I gravitate towards the Eric Carle ones.  They are catchy and the have the best pictures.  So it was a treat for all of us, not just the girls, when we visited the Eric Carle Museum.

During our visit, children's book author Jarret Krosocka was performing a book reading and signing.  We were introduced to another wonderful set of children's books.  Emma enjoyed the book reading, which was really animated and included juice boxes for all the kids (pretty sure that was her favorite part).

Isla had fun too.  She snuggled up to Mama in the Ergo, of course.  And also shared some smiles with the various strangers we encountered during the day.  That baby is super friendly and smiley!

Here are some pictures of our fun day at the museum.
