Adventures with Auntie Lindsay

After our visit to the central coast of California Emma and I headed to southern California for a quick visit (only forty-eight hours - not long enough!) with Auntie Lindsay and her boyfriend, Uncle "Co-Co".  Emma picked up a few germs while she was in Monterey.  So unfortunately Emma arrived at Auntie's place under the weather and with a serious cough (that kept everyone up at night, including herself).  Fortunately, Auntie was there to give her lots of cuddles and nurse her back to health.   

While visiting with Auntie, Emma enjoyed the following activities:

• Bossing her cousins (Auntie's dogs) around and controlling the food scraps they received;
• Cuddling and lounging with Auntie;
• Watching romantic dramas with Auntie;
• Eating mexican food (beans, rice, veggie burrito, cheese enchilada, and sope);
• Eating some of Auntie and Uncle's delicious cooking (oatmeal, waffles, grilled chicken & veggies, quesidilla, etc.);
• Getting her toys chewed by her cousins - she lost a wood block and a plastic stacking toy;
• Exploring downtown Huntington Beach;
• Smiling and laughing at Uncle Co-Co's every move (she really likes him);
• Picking out a souvenier for her Papa; and
• Watching some dancing street performers.
