52 Moments

Aunt Lindsay came to town for a long weekend.  We had a wonderful weekend bumping bumps (her baby is due next month), celebrating her belly, seeing some great friends, and spending time as a family.  The weekend was over too quickly, but not before Emma could sneak in lots of quality time with her "Lindsay".  Emma loves when Aunt Lindsay comes to town (and it had nothing to do with the cookies Lindsay gave her).  Emma melts right into Aunt Lindsay's loving arms and it is like they were never separated by the distance.  Here is one of my favorite moments of Emma and Lindsay.

Emma was very confused that Coco (Lindsay's fiance) was not here.  She finally figured out Coco was at "home to eat something" or "taking care of the dogs".  Her only explanation as to why he wouldn't be with her.

Emma had a blast with Aunt Lindsay.  Some of the activities they enjoyed included:

  • Singing songs and learning new ones;
  • Throwing Aunt Lindsay a baby shower;
  • Hanging out with Aunt Lindsay and enjoying lots of quality time;
  • Eating Aunt Lindsay's delicious pumpkin muffins (Emma claimed they were chocolate cupcakes with cookies on top - they were that good);
  • Exercising with Aunt Lindsay;
  • Listening to music and enjoying festivities at the Life Is Good festival (more on that later); and
  • Having a fire (with marshmallows) at Grandpa & Pepere's house.
Here are some additional photos from Lindsay's trip.

"Quality time with my Lindsay, shoo mom."

"More marshmallows please."

"Early morning cuddles with Lindsay are my favorite."

Emma learned how to do some Bradley Method exercises with Lindsay.
So many giggles when Lindsay is in town.

Glad you guys had a good visit! Emma is getting so big - as is her Aunt Lindsay and Mommy's tummies. You girls both look great and I can't wait to meet those babies.

I love every second I get to spend with the best niece in the entire world. Looking forward to an indefinite amount of moments with her and the newbie! =) Love you!

PS: Love that vid in the car, I haven't seen that one yet.
