Camping with Grandma & Grandpa

Every summer we spend a long weekend camping with Grandma and Grandpa Soos and this year was no exception.  We headed to North Conway to enjoy a favorite campground of theirs (they know all the campgrounds in New England).  This campground is very kid orientated with playgrounds, a pool, hayride, and games.  It was perfect for Emma and her cousin, Isabella.

Our family of four enjoyed camp life in a newer, bigger tent.  When we were setting up there seemed to be sooooo much space.  But we quickly filled it up with all of our stuff.  Mama and Papa slept on an air mattress.  Emma in a cot/sleeping bag set up.  And Isla in the play pen or our bed.  It was a nice spread!

Here are some photos of us enjoying our camping adventure with Grandma and Grandpa Soos and company.

Emma fell asleep in the car when we were exactly
5 minutes away from our destination.  Of course!

Stretching my legs in our new digs!

Isla enjoyed eating dirt and leaves.

Emma and Isabella enjoyed morning hot cocoa while the
adults had their coffee.

A family selfie at Clark's Trading Post - despite
the glum faces, the girls had a blast.

We took advantage of the amenities at Clarks,
including this double stroller.

Isla had a yucky eye cold while we were there.
Every morning she would wake up with her eyes
glued shut, but her usual huge smile would also
be present.

Despite her cold, she had a blast.  Especially,
playing in the campsite's pool.

Emma got to dunk her Papa in the dunk tank.

And ride around in the campsite's tricycle.

Isla enjoyed breakfast from Grandma.

Emma ate a lot of marshmallows.

Isla enjoyed the quality time with everyone.
