Emma's BFF

Move over Lily, Emma has a new best friend forever, Colton.  Actually, he's been her best buddy for almost two years (shhhhh, don't tell Lily).  They first got to know each other at daycare in the infant class and have advanced together through the toddler and preschool classrooms.

They have always been close.  The teachers in Emma's toddler classroom used to tell us at naptime Emma would walk over to Colton's mat and rub his back until he fell asleep.  Adorable stories like this are shared frequently.  We are a big fan of Colton and his mother.  In addition to being Colton's mom, she also works at the same daycare facility.  As a result, Emma calls school "Colton's house" and it has taken a long time to explain to her that Colton doesn't actually live there even though his mommy is always there.

There isn't a day that goes by that we don't hear about Colton.  So I figured I would share this important figure in Emma's life with you too!
