Isla is 11 MOS

My happy little Isla turned 11 months old on Monday. Which means the countdown to 1 year old is well underway. I'm kind of freaking out over here. My little baby is really not a baby anymore. And she reminds us everyday with her independence and determination. She is walking everywhere - definitely her preferred form of transportation. She gets mad and will throw a fit. (Yesterday she got mad at me for telling her not to stick her finger in the electrical socket.) Despite the "fits" she is still the happiest baby I know and is so pleasant to be around. She brings me such joy.

Here are some of Isla's favorite activities as an 11-month-old.

A video of Isla climbing into Emma's Kitchen Helper. She is
living up to that nickname, Animal.

Making her silly face.  Not sure how to explain this one
other than she will do it on demand (for the reaction) and
it is usually when she is pretty excited about something.

Eating a cupcake.  So much for no sugar before 1
like her sister
.

Doing two things - eating lasagna and trying to
climb out of her high chair.

Chilling with her BFF.

So happy that her cheerios are with her mac n cheese.
She loves putting her things (food, toys, etc.) into containers.

Trying new foods.  Here she is trying Garrett's
cheddar popcorn.

This girl goes bananas over bananas.

One of my favorite pictures of my happy little girl.

"Helping" Emma brush her hair.

Showing off her squinty, smile eyes.  Girl can smile even with
her mouth full.

These two girls have started playing together on their own.

Early morning shenanigans.

Isla loves to do whatever Emma does.

Facetiming with Mama - she recognizes me!

Isla's favorite toys are typically anything but toys.

My favorite thing about Isla is that she completes
our family.
