A couple of weeks ago, Aunt Lindsay left warm southern California for a vacation in wintery New England just to see her favorite little neice. She is such an awesome aunt! And she brought more amazing sea shells to add to Emma's growing collection. As you can expect, Emma enjoyed each and every moment with Aunt Lindsay. Some of her favorites included:
- Tasting the new sea shells;
- Cuddling with Aunt Lindsay;
- Being babysat by Aunt Lindsay;
- Being held by Aunt Lindsay, Grandpa, and Pepere - I don't think she was set down all weekend;
- Watching Aunt Lindsay and Mom enjoy their Dunkin Donut coffees and chocolate butternut donuts;
- Celebrating Pepere's birthday;
- Enjoying meals at Aunt Lindsay's favorite New England restaurants - the Old Mill, the Backroom, O's, and the Barley House;
- Beer tasting (well not for everyone!) and growler filling at Wachusett Brewery;
- Waking up Aunt Lindsay early, early in the morning; and
- Geniune quality time with Aunt Lindsay.
We had lots and lots of fun with Aunt Lindsay!!! So much fun, the weekend flew by too quickly. Goodbyes are always so hard - but it is nice knowing you'll see that person in only a month or so. Let the countdown to another west coast adventure begin!!!
