Pneumonia

My poor baby girl was diagnosed with pneumonia last week.  Such a tough little chick.  She took it in stride. High fever or not, she maintained a smile and great attitude.  We were told Emma was "the happiest child for being as sick as she is."  She was prescribed an antibiotic and has responded really well to treatment.  She returned to daycare on Monday (after a week away!)

Following a 4-hour trip to the ER which included some traumatizing tests, she has become even more of a Mama's girl than she was before.  A return to a routine schedule will be good for her; and we are looking forward to getting back to "normal" this week.

Here are a few recent photos of my sick little girl.

"Even a high fever wouldn't prevent me from
enjoying some lentil soup!"

"Do you think this hospital gown looks
good on me?"

"Mama, please find your own bed..."

"Cuddles with Mama, two pacifiers, and a movie is just
what the doctor ordered!"
