Since that time in the diner, I've had stickers tucked away in my purse (a recommendation for all moms with large purses!) They have come in handy on numerous occasions - restaurants, airplanes, doctor visits, etc. Emma loves her "ick-ers" (stickers). When she receives them, she cherishes them. For example, daycare sent her home with one on a Friday. She HAD to wear it all weekend long.
She even started doing things for stickers and is quick to accept a sticker bribe We were at the doctor's office measuring her oxygen levels (she had been really sick lately), using a small tool that was taped to her finger (or toe). She hates it and usually fusses and fights through it. It doesn't hurt; but she dislikes the test because strangers are touching her (would you blame her???). In the middle of the procedure, the nurse blurts out "Emma would you like a sticker?" Well that ceased all of her fussiness. In a few minutes the procedure was over and Emma was holding six stickers - some for her and her stuffed animal, Bunny! Lucky girl.

| Even Bunny scored a few princess stickers. Lucky Bunny. |
