Grandpa and Pepere gave us trees to celebrate both Ava and Emma's lives upon their births. These gifts have helped us morn and celebrate through the years. And have also helped beautify Casa Del Townsend! About a year ago, Seth took this photograph of me pregnant with "baby yolky" hanging out in front of Ava's blooming weeping cherry tree.

This year the buds on Ava's tree were plentiful with the early warm weather. But an overnight freeze, killed most of them. The blooms are nothing like last year. But we couldn't resist taking another photograph a year later...

And of course we had to walk around to the backyard to check out Emma's beautiful tree, which the deer enjoyed snacking on some of the buds...
