California Sunshine

At the beginning of March we headed west for an adventure in the California sunshine. It was a wonderful vacation of family love, great friends, and good times - just what the soul needed.

Some of Emma's favorite activities while we were galavanting in California included:

Not sleeping on planes (that was a tough one for her Momma and Papa to endure);
Flirting with the TSA agents so that Momma and Papa could get special treatment;
Hanging out and enjoying sunsets at the beach house;
Enjoying lots and lots of quality time with Auntie Lindsay (& hanging out with her cool boyfriend too);
Playing with Auntie Lindsay's dogs, Sam and Mable;
Watching and learning from those Varkonyi boys;
Playing in the warm SoCal grass;
Hanging out with her Great Aunt and Great Uncle Vasquez and some of her favorite cousins;
Having a beach picnic with Auntie Lindsay and new friend Melita (Emma loved Auntie's hummus and veggie sandwich);
Playing with old toys that Momma remembers at Grandma and Grandpa's house;
Getting love from some of her Great Aunt Kelly, Great Aunt Christy, and Great Aunt Laurie;
Enjoying her Gigi and smiling for her Gigi's friends at the golf course;
Eating all kinds of yummy foods from Papa and Momma's favorite restaurants - Mexican, Thai, Japanese, etc.;
Eating Mark's famous huevos rancheros - yummy;
Playing with all of Mark & Bonnie's toys;
Enjoying quality time by and in the pool with Mark, Bonnie, and Auntie Lindsay;
Swimming with Papa - she debuted her float, back stroke, and doggie paddle swim moves;
