Adventures with Aunt Lindsay

Aunt Lindsay came to visit after our trip to Texas.  In fact, we never really parted ways.  Aunt Lindsay traveled with us from Texas back to Massachusetts.  While Aunt Lindsay was here, she surprised Grandpa with her presence and Christmas celebrations continued (Christmas No. 2) in New Hampshire.

Emma had a lot of quality time with Aunt Lindsay.  Aunt Lindsay took care of Emma while Mama and Papa worked for a few days before the Christmas holiday weekend.  Here are some of the activities that Emma enjoyed with Aunt Lindsay:

• Playing "there were 10 in the bed and the little one said, roll over, roll over" while rolling around on her favorite alpaca rug with Aunt Lindsay;
• Surprising Grandpa when he came over for dinner;
• Going for walks in her stroller with Aunt Lindsay;
• Going to the Wachusett Brewery (a tradition when Aunt Lindsay comes to visit);
• Eating corn fritters at the Old Mill Cracker Barrel Pub;
• Helping Aunt Lindsay make breakfast (pancakes!);
• Enjoying yummy green smoothies (Aunt Lindsay even snuck carrots into the ones she made!);
• Staying up late and sleeping in (woohoo, no daycare!);
• Eating spoonfuls of sour cream (yuck, she must take after her Aunt Lindsay with that one!!!);
• Enjoying a yummy meal and good company at the Barley House (another favorite of ours when Aunt Lindsay is in town); and
• Celebrating an early Christmas with Aunt Lindsay, Grandpa, and Pepere.

Aunt Lindsay left on Christmas Eve and we miss her very much (especially Emma).  Looking forward to another adventure (in California?) with Aunt Lindsay maybe sometime this winter.
