Despite the rough start, we had a wonderful time drinking loads of coffee, opening gifts, celebrating Christmas, enjoying each others' company, eating yummy food, relaxing, and Face-Timing with Grandma Shelar and Aunt Lindsay! We knew we were really spoiled (so many gifts) when our gift opening continued into the afternoon and our family from California started calling (we are 3 hours ahead!) saying they were finished!!! Wow, what a blessing!!!
Emma had fun despite being a little sleepy. She unwrapped her all of own gifts, dug into her stocking, ate all kinds of goodies, played with her new toys, and had some quality time with Grandpa and Pepere. It was so fun to watch her play with her new toys that she had collected over all of our Christmas celebrations. The night before, she spent the majority of the evening playing with a few matchbox cars - and was completely satisfied. On Christmas, she bounced around to ALL of her new toys, trying them all out - talk about stimulation overload!!!
She spotted Larabars in her stocking and HAD to have one right away!
Eating some onion dip with her Pepere!
A pajama portrait.
Testing her luggage from her Gr. Aunt Kris and Gr. Uncle Adrian. Emma packed her bag full of her favorite toys.
Enjoying her presents from GiGi!
Making Lily some sushi using her new sushi kit from Grandpa and Pepere.
