Christmas in Fort Worth

Emma had a blast kicking off the Christmas season with Grandma in Fort Worth, Texas.  Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Coco flew in from California.  Even "Great Gramps" was there too!  Four generations all in one roof.  Fun was had by all, but especially Emma.  So much quality time.  Emma enjoyed the following activities while she was in Texas:
  • Exploring downtown Fort Worth;
  • Hanging out in 60 degree weather (woohoo, no jacket!);
  • Enjoying the city views and some cold beverages with the family at the Flying Saucer (a favorite brew pub of ours);
  • Staying up until midnight one night;
  • Playing with her new Christmas presents (so many fun toys!);
  • Taking care of her new Cabbage Patch Doll, Christa, and stuffed horse, Betty D;
  • Riding around in the play horse that Grandma has at her house for Emma;
  • Referring to her horse as "puppy" and the squirrels outside as "kitties";
  • Getting dressed up in an adorable Christmas dress that Grandma picked up for her;
  • Being babysat by Grandma while Mama, Papa, Auntie, and Uncle headed out for the night;
  • Watching football games with the guys on football Sunday;
  • Eating all kinds of delicious foods cooked by her Grandma;
  • Staring at Grandma's yummy butterhorn rolls cooking in the 375 degree oven while saying/screaming "mo, mo, mo" (more, more, more);
  • Playing with Grandma's fossil stash and everything else at toddler height in Grandma's house;
  • Visiting the Sixth Floor Museum and the neighboring grassy knoll in downtown Dallas (There wasn't much for Emma to do at the museum; but her parents enjoyed the history and the childcare from Auntie and Grandma);
  • Taking Papa's headphones out of his ears then putting them back in during our plane rides;
  • Walking the aisles of the plane and smiling at everyone; and
  • Acting like an angel while travelling (she did so well both of the flights).
Here are a few pictures of Emma's adventures in Fort Worth:

This little lady boarded the plane all by herself!

Cuddling with Uncle Coco.

After spotting the butterhorns baking, Emma ate
at least three of them at dinner.

Sightseeing with Mama and Papa.

Fixing Papa's headphones on the plane.

Playing with Grandma's cool fossil rocks!

Emma can't refuse a handful of raisins even while posing for a photo.

Reading Grandma her National Geographic Kids magazine!

Riding around on her horse (or puppy as Emma likes to call it).

Snacking on Grandma's yummy eats!
