Adventures with Grandpa and Pepere!

Emma recently spent a whole weekend at Grandpa and Pepere's while Papa and Mama went to Martha's Vineyard for a friend's wedding (I only cried once!)  We had so much fun relaxing and hanging with friends; it was really nice knowing she was in such good hands.  While we were away, Emma enjoyed a lot of fun activities with Grandpa and Pepere; here is an example of a few:

• Running to Pepere when he picked Emma up for the weekend;
• Eating pancakes and bacon at the Red Arrow Dinner with Pepere;
• Playing with all of her fun toys that Grandpa and Pepere have for her;
• Walking around and exploring Grandpa and Pepere's house on foot;
• Exclaiming "LILY!!!" when she spotted Grandpa and Pepere's cat, Mokie;
• Throwing back some apple juice and hanging out at the Barley House;
• Going shopping with Grandpa and picking out more toys for her stash at Grandpa and Pepere's house;
• Scoring some adorable outfits;
• Going for rides (indoors and out) in her convertible car;
• Sorting through rocks and leaves in Grandpa's Zen garden;
• Learning new words - Grandpa and Pepere;
• Eating more pancakes and watching Saturday morning cartoons with Grandpa;
• Watching the Swiss Family Robinson and sharing a bowl of popcorn with Grandpa and Pepere;
• Playing with playdough (she never tried to eat it - don't all kids want to eat playdough?!?!); and
• Snuggles and taking an early morning nap with Grandpa.
