Chasing Lily

Emma loves her Best Friend Forever (BFF), Lily (other posts about her BFF here and here).  Emma is a huge fan of Lily, really fanatical about her.  It is still up-in-the-air if Lily likes Emma as much as Emma likes her.  But I can say that Lily is very tolerant; I believe that is a sign of affection.

Emma has been chasing Lily around, literally.  She uses her "walker" and runs after Lily.  Lily is a good sport and stands there, usually jumping out of the way at the last minute.  Emma gets so excited during the chase - giggling, squealing, and her version of running.  Here is a video of Emma chasing Lily.

Emma has figured out how to get up onto the couches.  This means she has found all of Lily's hiding/naping spots.  Emma loves giving Lily bear-hugs when Lily is napping.  Lily isn't so much of a fan of this affection.  I have a feeling Lily is going to find other nap spots.

In addition, Emma likes to give Lily her cat treats.  The mention of treats causes excitement in not only the cat these days but also Emma.  Emma enjoys getting the treats from the container, crawling over to the cat dish, placing them in the bowl, and watching Lily eat them.  Here is a video of Emma watching Lily eat the treats.
