Frankenstorm

Octobers in New England appear to be stormy months!  Last year it was "Snoctober"!  This year it is "Frankenstorm".  I've received a lot of inquiries about our preparedness for Hurricane Sandy and just wanted to let everyone know we are hunkered down waiting for her wrath!  We expect to lose power for several days as the media is reporting.  We have non-perishable food, water, and even back-up power that will provide power to our groundwater well, water heater (for warm water and heat), refrigerator, microwave, and other "essentials".  After watching the news and getting caught up in the hype yesterday, we (I) have even packed a "hurricane kit".  We feel prepared.  Emma is home from daycare (closed along with the regional schools).

We hope that Sandy isn't as bad as the media outlets are saying she will be.  In the meantime, our thoughts and prayers are with our family and friends in the New England seacoast and D.C. areas.

XOXO Thanks for all the love.

"So far Sandy is a Snoozefest!"
