23 Months Old

Wowser!  She's almost two!!!  She has been communicating so much.  And of course her independent  attitude remains.  The last month has been a lot of fun.  We have really been enjoying this stage.  Here are some of the activities Emma has been up to:
  • Enjoying the extended daylight hours and playing outside in the evenings;
  • Playing with the last of the snow;
  • Talking and communicating more;
  • Using her potty (or rather pretending too) on occasion;
  • Being naked - she definitely went through a naked phase where she would strip off her clothes;
  • Helping Mama prep and cook dinner;
  • Making all kinds of creations with her Potato Head toy;
  • Floating on her back while taking a bath;
  • Singing her favorite song - Row, Row, Row Your Boat;
  • Getting undressed with a little help from her parents;
  • Going on Mama dinner dates because Mama is too tired (lazy) to cook;
  • Giving kisses and saying "I love you";
  • Having a girls' trip to California;
  • Celebrating Easter with a couple of egg hunts;
  • Going up and down stairs on her own, although she would much prefer a finger from Mama or Papa; and
  • Hanging out with Papa and Grandpa and Grandma Soos for a couple of weekends while Mama traveled.
Here are a few photos of Emma as a 23-month-old.
